Every wedding gown is different, and so are the alterations it needs. At Alabaster Bridal Alterations, each gown is fitted individually in our private Marietta studio, with recommendations based on its construction, fabric, details, and the fit you want to achieve.

Wedding Gown Alterations:

HEMMING
Starting around $225; more complex gowns with multiple layers, lace, horsehair, appliqué or detailed construction may cost more.

BODICE & FIT
Taking in or letting out the bust, waist and hips can typically be $400–$1,000+ depending on construction and the amount of reshaping required.

BUSTLES
A bustle designed specifically around your gown's train, structure and details is usually $250–$450+.

STRAPS & SLEEVES
Pricing varies depending on whether we're adjusting existing elements or creating/customizing them.

CUSTOMIZATIONS
Such as neckline changes, lacework, and personalized gown details are quoted individually based on the design and work involved.

What Should I Budget for Bridal Alterations?

Most bridal alterations average $1,200–$1,800

Your final alterations cost depends on your gown's construction, number of layers, fabric, lace and embellishments, and the alterations needed to achieve your desired fit.

You'll receive a personalized estimate based on your gown and alteration needs.
